Costa Rica is recovering from the economic crisis and one can see how investment is growing again and new projects are under development.
During the economic crisis it was rather difficult to get any financing in Costa Rica. However, having passed that period, banks and other financing institutions are willing again to finance more projects.
Financing sources
Costa Rica’s financial market is driven by state banks as well as by private banks.
Most of the banks operating in Costa Rica have a branch office in the Liberia Pacific Coast Area. One can also find international banks such as Scotiabank in Liberia.
